Milldown Pottery is a small ceramics business run by Sarah Rushbrooke. Based in Goring on Thames Sarah works from a garden studio that has two electric wheels and a separately housed electric kiln. Her background is firmly rooted in the art world with a History of Art degree and 15 years as a modern art specialist at Christie’s. Her love of ceramics began with evening classes at Standpoint Studios in Hoxton and a throwing course at City Lit before moving out of London in 2010 and turning ceramics into a full time career.
